Patrick Maddock is a PGA of America Class A Professional who has made his home in Reno, NV since 2020. His 15 years of golf instruction experience comes from a well-traveled career path, having worked with and learned from some fantastic instructors from around the United States.

Patrick began his golf career in the California Bay Area as a Master Club Fitter for Golfsmith in Pleasant Hill, CA before transitioning to the PGA Professional program at Round Hill Country Club in Alamo, CA.

From Round Hill, Patrick has worked at golf facilities all over the country including:

  •   Harbor Ridge Yacht & Country Club, Palm City, FL

About Patrick Maddock

Currently, Patrick is the Assistant Coach for the University of Nevada Men’s Golf Team. Coaching Division 1 Collegiate Golf has been a lifelong goal of Patrick’s, having previously coached many other Junior Golf Teams including multiple PGA Junior League teams, the Bement School Golf Team in Deerfield, MA, and the Greenfield High School Golf Team in Greenfield, MA.

Patrick’s teaching style includes an emphasis on communication and understanding of every individual student’s needs and goals, regardless of their experience and playing ability. Having worked with players of all different levels within the game, Patrick is uniquely suited to help you with your golf game, no matter what aspect is troubling you the most!

Patrick has extensive experience with instruction using both technology guided learning, as well as traditional outdoor and indoor learning, and is well versed in the Premier Trackman Technology offered at Golf Lab 24.

*NOTE FOR JUNIOR GOLFERS:

Due to NCAA restrictions for coaches providing instruction to Prospective Student Athletes, Patrick is unable to provide instruction to anyone who qualifies as a ‘PSA’ under NCAA Compliance rules.  For Men’s Golf, this includes anyone planning on competing at a collegiate level that has begun classes at a 9th grade level up until they have exhausted their NCAA eligibility.
